RuPaul’s Drag Race’ returns for season 12, Lisa Loeb drops a new album and more of this week’s best in pop culture

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is back for season 12 with 13 new drag queens, who are sure to bring some exciting glam. Joining the “ru-volution” as a guest judge, for the first time, is rapper Nicki Minaj. There’s also guest appearances from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Leslie Jones, Whoopi Goldberg and Jeff Goldblum, to name a few. Lisa Loeb drops her fifteenth studio album, yes fifteenth! “A Simple Trick to Happiness” is her most personal album yet. The 11-track album is filled with new stories and inspiring messages. She tells Yahoo Entertainment, “Just putting it out there that there could be some simple tricks to happiness makes people start looking for them.” Sadie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame is also inspiring fans with her new book “Live.” The New York Times bestselling author and social media sensation leads readers to engage with God's truth and light in a world that is growing more and more confusing.
