'The Mysteries of Laura' Sneak Peek: Jerry O'Connell and the Mystery of the Murdered Perfume Magnate
Something stinks about the way the head of the Belle Reve Perfumes company died… is his wannabe heir, son Jon Dunham (guest star Jerry O’Connell), guilty of being too ambitious… and too murder-y?
In an exclusive clip from Jan. 13’s “The Mystery of the Downward Spiral” episode of The Mysteries of Laura, Jon appears to be upset when Laura (Debra Messing) and Jake (Josh Lucas) interview him about the shocking murder of Papa Dunham. But he also has a very convenient excuse for why the company’s security video surveillance was down during the murder, and Jake, at least, might be a bit skeptical about Jon’s explanation.

O’Connell, who will also guest star in Showtime’s new drama Billions later this month, will continue his Laura stint in the Jan. 20 episode, “The Mystery of the Unwelcomed Houseguest,” so maybe Jon Dunham won’t turn out to be the guy whodunit after all.
Stockard Channing and Sex and the City and White Collar alum Willie Garson also guest star.
The Mysteries of Laura airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
