Join Us for Our 'Empire' Aftershow, 'Superfan Live'
Though President Obama has not officially declared Sept. 23 — a.k.a. Empire premiere day — a national holiday, TV fans know it’s the most important day of the year. After the sure-to-be-GIF-tastic Season 2 premiere finishes airing at 10 p.m. PT, join us here for Yahoo’s Superfan Live aftershow, hosted by YouTube star and comedian Akilah Hughes along with co-host and Yahoo Style's Editor in Chief, Joe Zee. Also joining us will be Yahoo Music's managing editor Lyndsey Parker and a live studio audience of Empire junkies.

Accompanying Akilah in studio will be everyone’s favorite personal assistant, Porsha — a.k.a. the fabulous Ta’Rhonda Jones, Lawrence 'Miss Lawrence' Washington — to break down Cookie and Co.’s fashions. As exec producer Danny Strong told Yahoo TV, the theme this season on Empire is “warring kingdoms,” as Jamal will have to fight to keep control of his father’s record label: “Just because you inherit the throne doesn’t mean you get to keep the throne.”
Empire Season 2 premieres Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on Fox. Superfan Live premieres Sept. 23 at 10 p.m. PT and will be available for replay.
