MTV Fandom Awards: And the Nominees Are...

Ready to find out whose fandom reigns supreme? MTV will answer that burning question with its second-annual “Fandom of the Year” award, which will be decided by — who else? — you the fans. Head on over to FandomAwards.MTV.com to vote for your top choice in four different categories, including Movies (where the Guardians of the Galaxy is squaring off against Katniss Everdeen), TV Dramas (where Cookie from Empire is taking on the vigilantes of Arrow), TV Comedies (where the Broad City women are up against the women of Orange Is the New Black), and Reality (where the Kardashians confront the OG Teen Moms).

But the real heat, so to speak, will be reserved for the “Ship of the Year” award, where fans can celebrate the OTPs (that’s One True Pairing for those of you who don’t speak fandom) that have launched a thousand YouTube tributes. That voting happens exclusively on the MTV Tumblr page starting June 25 thru July 8. The winners will be announced at San Diego’s Petco Park on July 9, right as Comic-Con kicks off. (An hour-long special featuring highlights from the show will air on July 12 on MTV.) Read on for a full list of the nominees, and make sure to register your vote early and often.
