Jaw-Dropping and Knee-Dropping Performances Shine on ‘The Voice’

The top 11 contestants sang their hearts out on The Voice, but only three performances were jaw-dropping and knee-dropping. TSoul, Chris Blue, and Hunter Plake stood out from the rest, even though they were literally brought to their knees during their performances.

TSoul took Sam Smith’s song, “Lay Me Down,” and laid himself down on the stage in the middle of his performance. The coaches were all impressed, and Alicia Keys was particularly impressed that TSoul was able to fit in a quick ab workout during the song. Alicia said, “By the way, as a singer, it is not easy to do crunches and sing.”

Hunter Plake also impressed when he took to a knee during his performance of “All I Want” by Kodaline. And the final knee-dropping performance of the night was by Chris Blue, who belted out the Percy Sledge classic, “When a Man Loves a Woman.”

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch The Voice on Yahoo View, available now on iOS and Android.
