Ice Cube Responds to Donald Trump’s Daughter-in-Law’s ‘Real’ News Network

Ice Cube stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where the host couldn’t help but notice that Donald Trump‘s daughter-in-law Lara, married to Eric Trump, had started her own online “real” news network.

Lara Trump launched the first video of said news network this week on Donald Trump’s Facebook page, and as of Thursday the video had garnered more than 2 million views. She reports only on the positive news about Trump within the previous week. It begins, “Lara Trump here. I bet you haven’t heard about all the accomplishments the president had this week because there’s so much fake news out there.” Lara went on to elaborate about the economy: “The stock market is up; the economy is booming.”

Fallon’s guest Ice Cube decided that he needed to do a response video. So, when Lara said, “There’s so much fake news out there. We wanted to give you a glimpse into this week,” Ice Cube said, “Let me guess, his ass went golfing.” (In all fairness, Trump’s 17-day golf vacation starts Friday.)

Lara’s video may have skipped over a few key things that happened throughout the week, like how Reince Priebus was ousted or how Anthony Scaramucci got the ax, but Ice Cube seemed to remember. When Lara said, “There have been almost 800,000 new jobs created in this country since Donald Trump took office,” Ice Cube said, “Cause he keeps f***ing firing people.”
