'Heroes Reborn' Stars (Sorta Kinda) Tease Their Superpowers

We can confirm that, despite our best efforts to get them to drop some deets, the cast members of NBC’s upcoming Heroes Reborn spinoff/reboot miniseries all have one very special superhero talent: secrecy!

After taking a stab at the Yahoo TV’s Wheel of Comic-Con! game (patent pending) which led star Henry Zobrowski to improvise a Reborn theme song, we tried to get the actors and actresses to share a little bit about their characters in the Heroes update, but most of them chose to describe their on-screen superheroes with a series of vague hand gestures that revealed… pretty much nothing.

Comedian Zebrowski did tell us he’ll be playing Quentin Frady, a conspiracy theorist who witnesses something he’s not suppose to witness, which — of course — makes him part of the Heroes Reborn action.

The 13-episode miniseries also stars Chuck alum Zachary Levi as a vigilante hot on the trail of those with special abilities after deeming them responsible for the loss of someone he loves. Original series returning cast members include Jack Coleman as Noah Bennet/HRG, Masi Oka as Hiro, Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Suresh, Noah Gray-Cabey as Micah, and Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian.

Heroes Reborn premieres Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
