Deal Alert: Caribbean Cruise Sale for One Week Only

Barbecue, pie, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and 7-night Caribbean cruises for $349 per person — in a balcony stateroom? America, heck yeah!

There’s nothing quite as patriotic as stealing a deal, and MSC Cruises has a doozy. For their one-week-only Fourth of July sale, the first 500 guests to book a 7-night Caribbean cruise are guaranteed a balcony stateroom for just 3-and-a-half Benjamins. That means when summer wanes and fall rolls around you could be keeping the warmth alive on in the blue waters from the Bahamas to Cozumel to America’s own San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The ship itself — the MSC Divina, named after Sophia Loren — offers two Eataly restaurants, 18 bars and lounges, five swimming bowls, a “4D” theater, bowling alley, spa, and the first-in-class Aqua Cycling facilities. And like a proper Italian signora, there’s also a new Segafreddo Zanetti café.

There are 11 sailings available between August 23 and November 1 on both Eastern Caribbean (St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Bahamas) and Western Caribbean (Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Mexico, Bahamas) routes. Visit the Fourth of July Sale page for more info.

And if you’re more of a gambling type, also pop by their Sizzling Summer Giveaway (through July 31), where bookings on many of the same sailings can be had for only $299. The hitch here is that guests are assigned a stateroom at random, so by luck of the draw you could find yourself with wind in your hair on a private balcony for even less money — and what’s more American than that?
