#Daydream: The Gardens at Marqueyssac, France

We know how it is. You’re stuck at your desk and the day seems to be going on forever. Your mind starts to wander — at first to “anywhere but here,” but then to exotic, faraway lands where your everyday problems and stress melt in the presence of true paradise. You want to go to there, and we want to go with you. Every day at 3 p.m. Eastern, we’ll send you a picture of the place we at Yahoo Travel are daydreaming about so we can all take that mental vacation together. Let’s go to…

…the Gardens at Marqueyssac, France! We love the Marqueyssac Gardens because they are so incredibly unique. Gorgeous topiary greets you as you enter and once inside, there is a whole series of different walks for you to explore. Cliff walk is the most recommended one and gives you a sensational view of the Dordgone. Your time at the Marqueyssac Gardens will be amazing in any weather, and as beautiful as it is in the sunshine, a foggy day adds a lot of charm and magic to all those handsome hedges. Once your time communing with plants comes to an end, there are plenty of great places to lunch around the area. The only suggestion we have is that you wear sensible shoes. The gardens and your feet will hate you forever if you attempt this place in heels.
