A Sneak Peek at Etihad Airways’ $20,000 (One-Way!) Luxury Cabin

One look at Etihad Airways’ luxury class is enough to make you want to live on a plane!

The airline has just released a digital walk-through of its new “Residence Class” cabin, and after watching the clip, you’ll see why the Etihad puts the luxe in luxury.

The three-room suite is likely larger than many New York City apartments. The living area comes with a large flat-screen TV, leather seats, and several storage compartments. When it’s time for rest, passengers can take a shower in a private bathroom before retiring to their very own two-person bedroom. We should mention that the bedroom also has its own TV.

So how much does all of this cost? Those interested in buying a “Residence” ticket can be expected to pay at least $20,000 for a ticket. To put it another way, you could buy about 25 economy class tickets for that price.

The Residence will be available on the A380 aircraft, with flights from New York to Abu Dhabi starting Nov. 23.
