Ian Ziering, Molly Ringwald honor Luke Perry on first anniversary of his death

Luke Perry died one year ago — and his presence is missed onscreen and off. The “Beverly Hills, 90210” heartthrob suffered a massive stroke on Feb. 27, 2019, and died one week later at just 52 years old. Perry, of course, is best remembered for playing Dylan McKay on the ’90s primetime soap staple, and his co-star Ian Ziering, who was Steve Sanders, paid tribute to him on the first anniversary of his death. Along with a black-and-white photo of them in their “Bev Niner” glory, he admitted that while “time heals wounds, the pain of loss lasts forever” and he misses his “pal.”
