Kathleen Hanna’s memoir, Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk, is out April 14, and, today, the Bikini Kill, Le Tigre, and the Julie Ruin frontperson has announced an illustrious moderator lineup for the book tour. Molly Ringwald, Amy Poehler, former Pitchfork editor-in-chief Puja Patel, and the poet and music writer Hanif Abdurraqib will each moderate a stop, with Lindy West, Brontez Purnell, Mira Jacob, Fabi Reyna, Imani Perry, and Hari Kondabalou taking the reins elsewhere.

The HarperCollins imprint Ecco, which is publishing the memoir, has also shared its first excerpt. Check that out at People. The Seattle date of the book tour, moderated by Lindy West, will stream live on on May 22. A portion of all ticket sales will go to the nonprofit Peace Sisters.

India's Election Commission has issued an advisory to all political parties, urging them to refrain from using deepfakes and other forms of misinformation in their social media posts during the country's ongoing general elections. The move comes after the constitutional body faced criticism for not doing enough to combat such campaigns in the world's most populous nation. The advisory, released on Monday (PDF), requires political parties to remove any deepfake audio or video within three hours of becoming aware of its existence.
