Twitter’s Advanced Search Just Got a Little Better

Looking for that special Ashton Kutcher tweet from June 2012?

The social media company Twitter recently added a helpful tool that allows you to specify a date range when searching for tweets, Lifehacker notes.

For anyone who wants to do research on a major current event or reminisce about that time Ellen DeGeneres broke Twitter, this is an incredibly useful feature.

You can find it over on Twitter’s Advanced Search page, which also offers the option to search for tweets based on people’s handles (and whom they mention), their location, language and — most interestingly — whether a tweet is positive, negative, or in the form of a question.

Remember, the Library of Congress is archiving every single American Tweet ever, so it’s comforting to know that Twitter is refining the tools we need to make use of them.
