AT&T network issue may affect NWA and River Valley counties

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Fayetteville Police Department has reported that a cable cut may cause problems for residents with AT&T in Washington, Crawford and Madison counties.

Anyone trying to call the police and cannot reach 911 can dial 479-575-0258 or try to use a phone with a different carrier, police said in a Facebook post.

FPD Public Inforamtion Officer, Sgt. Mauk said that AT&T crews expect to have the issue fixed around 2:20 p.m. He said that several other states have been affected by this too.

The Washington County Communications Director, Tad Sours, said that the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Emergency Management were not affected.
