Slate Adds Two New Hires to Grow Business and Technology Coverage
We’re thrilled to announce that Katie Krzaczek and Tony Ho Tran are joining Slate as senior editors in our business and technology sections.
Katie Krzaczek will be joining us as our senior editor covering business. For the past seven years, Krzaczek’s focus has been on consumer trends, digital culture, and the ways big business affects our everyday lives. She joins Slate from the Philadelphia Inquirer, where she led a strategy project to reimagine the paper’s local business coverage and managed a slate of freelancers for the business desk. Previously, Krzaczek was a business news editor at Business Insider and an associate editor and producer for live programming at Yahoo Finance.
Tony Ho Tran will be joining us as our senior editor covering technology. Ho Tran is a writer who covers all things tech, including A.I., robotics, VR/AR, electric vehicles, and biotechnology. He was previously the senior editor of innovation at the Daily Beast and, before that, a staff writer for Futurism.
Krzaczek and Ho Tran will be integral to expanding Slate’s business and technology coverage and making these sections destinations for our readers who are looking for coverage that reflects how their lives intersect with these topics.
