For 2025, BMW updates the electric version of its 4-series, with the sedan adopting new exterior lighting elements, a revised kidney grille, and cabin alterations.

The 2025 BMW i4 receives mild cosmetic updates including slimmer headlamps and an updated kidney grille design with a closed upper portion.

Several new wheel designs join the roster, including bi-color 19-inchers for cars with the M Sport Package.

The taillamps and rear bumper also receive mild freshening for 2025.

The i4 has a maximum charge rate of 200 kW on a DC fast-charger.

The integrated instrument panel and touchscreen consume a bit of real estate but provide intuitive functionality and excellent image quality.

The M Sport Package includes a leather-wrapped, three-spoke steering wheel.

Interior updates for 2025 include two new open-pore wood choices, Grey Blue Ash and Fineline Light.

Tiny but not inconsequential updates include new adjustment controls for the air vents.

The 2025 i4 runs BMW iDrive with QuickSelect based on the latest 8.5 operating system.

Numerous interior trim and upholstery options are available, including the red on black contrasting leather displayed in the M50 xDrive.
