Chase bank app, website outage affects thousands
NEW YORK (PIX11) — Thousands of people reported Chase bank app and website outages Wednesday afternoon, according to Downdetector.
The outage peaked just before 2 p.m., with over 7,000 people reporting issues accessing the website and mobile app. By 3:10 p.m., that number had dropped to around 3,000, Downdetector shows. Just before 5 p.m., just over 1,500 people had reported issues.
The company posted an alert at the top of its website and app.
“We are working to restore full service. Please try again later,” the alert stated.
