Is the Casper dog bed actually worth it?
We ranked the Casper Dog Bed, Plush Memory Foam as the best upgrade dog bed we've ever tested. Our biggest complaint was that the bed is expensive. Our tester noted that similarly to Casper’s human-grade mattresses, the dog bed is made with two layers of memory foam, making it an undeniably comfortable bed. "The sturdy yet snuggly materials mold perfectly to your pup's shape but spring back when not in use, and are ideal when it comes to support and pressure relief; a primary concern for older or arthritic dogs," our tester added. We ultimately decided that because of the price tag, if you have an active pup who tends to chew everything, the Casper dog bed might not be worth the money, yet. We'd recommend this deal for dog parents with older, more established dogs who are through their chewing phase.
What do we like about the Casper dog bed?
We love this Casper dog bed for the right pup. "If you like spoiling your four-legged friend rotten or just want a bed that’s going to last more than a year, I’d definitely recommend it. Yes, it’s quite expensive, but in this case, it’s true that you get what you pay for. The bed is made from high-quality materials that can stand up to your dog’s worst antics, and my dog and cat give it the seal of approval when it comes to comfort," our tester said. The dog bed is fitted with removable bolsters around each side, so your furry friend will be cozily cocooned, and have lots of available options for chin-resting, head-dangling, or toy-propping-and-chewing. Our tester also highlighted that it is thoughtfully designed to appeal to the innate doggie instinct of pawing, digging, and shaping their sleep surface before coming to a rest, thanks to an excess of baggy material gathered on top.
