  • The 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor is adding a new Black Appearance package that will be available to order at the end of this month.

  • The $4995 kit includes a mix of black-painted bits, from the shinier roof and roll bar to the non-glossy front skid plate and tow hooks.

  • Black decals on the body sides and hood are also part of the Braptor's new design package.

With wildly wide fender flares, chunky oversized off-road tires, and distinctive amber-colored front lights, there are few things the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor can do to attract more attention. However, Ford is introducing a new Black Appearance package that'll help the mud-slingin' Braptor stand apart from its brethren.

The '24 Bronco Raptor currently has a hefty $91,930 starting price. Opting for the new design pack will increase the bottom line by another $4995, but it brings a bunch of black-painted parts. It starts with the standard steel bumpers, which were already matte black but now incorporate a matching front skid plate and tow hooks. Ford says it noticed that customers were painting the skid plates themselves, so the company decided to eliminate the middle person.

While the Braptor's new Black Appearance package has a pretty lame name, we do dig the look of its black-painted roof. The shinier color is called Shadow Black, and it matches the color seen on the mirror caps, fender flares, and roll bar. The latter can be showcased in all its glory with the roof panels fully removed (as seen above). Also included with the design pack are matte black decals that go on the off-road-focused mid-size SUV's body sides and hood.

Ford says the Bronco Raptor's Black Appearance package will be available to order at the end of this month. It follows the Code Orange styling package that was previously added to the lineup. Just like before, every Braptor features a 418-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 and a four-wheel-drive system that spins a set of 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires. The one we tested hit 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, and it continues to live up to the hype.
