Yahoo Food Tries Peeps-Flavored Milk So You Don’t Have To
Say what you will about Peeps, the marshmallowy chick-shaped treats, but you can’t accuse them of inspiring lukewarm reactions.
People either love or loathe the Easter staple, which is why our hearts skipped a beat when we learned that Prairie Farms had released three "milks" infused with the sugary treat. We wondered: How would they taste? And would they be as polarizing as their candy forebear?
Yahoo Food editors tracked down cartons of the three flavors—marshmallow, chocolate marshmallow, and Easter eggnog—and bravely sampled them to find out. You’re welcome.
The verdict? Our editors were split, but overall, it was better than expected. Jimmy Kimmel also tried the stuff—alongside American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr.—on Tuesday, and they mostly agreed with us. Great minds think (and taste) alike, apparently.
