World's first Marvel comics superhero hotel to open at Disneyland Paris
Disney is bringing the Avengers to Paris with the opening of its new Marvel Universe-themed hotel.
The Disneyland opening will be called Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel (replacing the resort's current Hotel New York) and will display props and costumes from numerous Marvel films and television shows, as well as artwork inspired by the original comic books.
The exterior is rumoured to resemble Stark Tower, Tony Stark/Iron Man's Manhattan skyscraper.
Inside, the four-star hotel will offer 565 guest rooms, as well as a distinctive New York-inspired décor that, from the renderings, also appears to resemble Iron Man's fictional high-rise hideout.
An opening date has not, as of yet, been revealed.
The hotel was announced at the recent D23 Expo in Anaheim, where Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts, said: “We’re going to create a hotel at Disneyland Paris that would make Tony Stark proud.”

“I’m thrilled to announce that Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will transport our guests to the action-packed, inspiring world of Super Heroes including Iron Man, The Avengers, and Spider Man among others!”, Bob Chapek added.
It follows a string of Marvel-related openings (both past and upcoming) at Disney theme parks across the world, including the Iron Man Experience in Hong Kong and Guardians of the Galaxy rides in Orlando and California, with the latter also promising future Superman and Avengers attractions.
It also follows the news that Disney will be opening of the world's first official Star Wars hotel at its upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park - part of Walt Disney World Orlando.
The starship-themed hotel will transport guests to the Star Wars universe, where a series of immersive and interactive stories and events will unfold throughout any stay.
