Winter is Coming… To a Rave Near You
If you’ve ever dreamt of what it’d be like to binge watch all four seasons of Game of Thrones, then go to a party and drop some acid, well, Manish Arora has made your dreams come true (or your nightmares). All of the animals that symbolize the seven kingdoms have been Lisa Frank’d, and turned into bold neon creatures that appear on sweatshirts.
Don’t worry, that’s not all. If you fancy yourself a Khaleesi, there’s a tiny green bedazzled dragon hanging out on the shoulder of an over-sizid hoodie (not that the Mother of Dragons would ever wear such a pedestrian item of clothing). An intarsia knit sweater is covered in a black, red, and pink “Winter is Coming” print—like a more sinister version of your favorite sweater from when you were a kid. There’s gold armor, multi-color feathers, and even skeleton bodices for anyone who’d rather channel the White Walkers.
The only thing that could make this collection more perfect is if, come fall, you could actually buy Trapper Keepers and folders emblazoned with the psychedelic Game of Thrones characters on them in bright Lisa Frank colors. Isn’t it wonderful how the ‘90s keep coming back in new, and increasingly, exciting ways?
