If you're rooting for Jackie at the Oscars tonight, we've got bad news for you. According to People, the film's leading lady, Natalie Portman, won't be attending the awards show--but for good reason.

Portman is currently pregnant with her second child, and as she nears her due date, it seems she's just not up for all the fanfare of the Academy Awards.

"Due to my pregnancy, I am unable to attend the Independent Spirit Awards and the Academy Awards," Portman said in statement. "I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends."

Portman is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Jackie, the Jackie Kennedy biopic. She's up against Emma Stone, Meryl Streep, Ruth Negga, and Isabelle Huppert in the category, so you know the competition is fierce!

However, the health of her baby comes first, so Portman will be watching the show from the comfort of her couch. Back in September, the Black Swan star announced she and husband Benjamin Millepied were expecting baby No. 2, and ever since, she's wowed us with one great maternity look after the next.

The couple, who have a 5-year-old son together, has kept the gender of their new baby a secret, so it will be a wonderful surprise for fans when the little bundle arrives.
