Watch Lady Gaga's Tender Acoustic Performance on the Streets of Paris

From Harper's BAZAAR

Between staging peaceful anti-Trump protests and serenading orphans, Lady Gaga has been busy spreading the message that #lovetrumpshate. While in Paris on Monday night ahead of her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show performance, she found the time to sit down with some fans and perform a stripped-down version of the title song from her new album, Joanne.

The performance is especially moving when you consider how personal the song is for the superstar:

"There's two sides of me. There's a side of me that's a true rebel. And then another side of me that's my father's daughter," she said in a video for T Magazine, "And so this album, it doesn't lean necessarily in a particular direction, which is why the album title is Joanne. This is my middle name. This is the middle on the center of me. And Joanne, my father's sister, who died when she was 19, that was the year I really decided I was gonna go for it."

She performs the song softly and makeup-free, but still wearing her six-inch heels. She is still Gaga, after all.
