Watch Christina Ricci Dazzle as Jazz Age Muse Zelda Fitzgerald

Amazon's upcoming Christina Ricci-led Zelda Fitzgerald series has everything we could ever hope for in a binge-worthy drama: booze, romance, plagiarism, all set in the idealized prohibition era, complete with its delicate pin curls and everyday fur stoles. We. Can't. Wait.

From the trailer alone, we can tell it's going to be a wild 10-episodes. I mean, the series gives us a front seat to the all-consuming extravagance of the roaring '20s by way of F. Scott Fitzgerald's iconic and unpredictable muse (plus, Ricci's smooth molasses drawl is all the inspo you'll need to book that trip to the romantic South). Although, honestly, the series had us at "Zelda Fitzgerald."

Unfortunately for Z, the topic of Mrs. Fitzgerald has drawn a massive media interest in the past year, leading to the creation of two other big-budget Zelda projects: Zelda (starring Jennifer Lawrence in the title role) and The Beautiful and Damned (starring Scarlett Johansson). Regardless of the A-list competition, Z will certainly benefit from its early release in January--neither Zelda nor The Beautiful and Damned has announced a premiere date.
