Was Marion Cotillard’s Latest Maternity Look Inspired By Beyonce?
It seems Marion Cotillard is one of the many women in the world influenced by Beyoncé.
The actress has been popping up in striking ensembles across the globe for the press tour of her new film Allied — like the floor length navy blue gown she wore to a fan event and the double stripes ensemble that consisted of a satin top and sequined pencil skirt she wore to the New York premiere.
While most of the looks have been incredibly unique, the dress she wore to the movie’s Paris premiere on Sunday night is giving us a bit of Beyoncé déjà vu.
The red floor length one shoulder gown is eerily similar to the dress Beyoncé wore to the 2011 Video Music Awards. Pregnant with her second child, Cotillard may have turned to Beyoncé for maternity clothing inspiration, as the singer was pregnant with Blue Ivy when she wore this gown.
Beyoncé’s gown was Lanvin and Cotillard’s was Dior. The actress obviously didn’t ask Beyoncé to borrow the dress straight from her closet, but she must have had her in mind when picking out the frock. That, or Cotillard and Beyoncé have the same amazing taste in pregnancy attire. That wouldn’t be too hard to believe.
