Two Moms Get Brutally Honest About Bathing Suits in Hilarious Video

From Good Housekeeping

Summer has arrived, and women everywhere have one thing on the mind: bathing suit season. While the trials of finding the perfect suit are surely haunting your dreams and plaguing your e-commerce shopping carts, it's nice to remember you aren't alone.

Kirstin Hensley and Jen Smedley, stars of the popular Facebook page iMomSoHard, definitely feel your pain. These moms made a video summarizing the ridiculousness of bathing suit season. Between a demonstration of how men get off easier with their swim wear (of course), body image references and a few glasses of wine, these comedian moms don't miss a beat.

The duo first appears on camera wearing men's swimming trunks and baggy t-shirts. "This is what dudes get to wear to the beach," Hensley says. They then demonstrate how easy it is for men to bend down or reach up without being exposed. Oh, the double standard.

"I do not feel confident in a swimsuit at all," Smedley said. She even revealed she's 12 pounds heavier than she was when she gave birth to her now 4-year-old, but she's not going to let it get her down.

The pair suggests buying swimwear that's reasonable. They then proceed to model all the crazy suits out that are really just not made for real women at all. While their fashion show is hilarious, they depict the reality of what moms can through to feel good at the beach - and trust us, it's stressful.

Some of the suits are so intricate it's a wonder anyone can wear them. "This gives me four complete butt cheeks," exclaimed Hensley at one point. "I could tell by the hanger it was bad," Smedley said. "I put my legs through these holes three times."

The video has since received over 69,000 likes and 85,000 shares. Needless to say, women everywhere are loving it.

At the end of the video Hensley and Smedley concede that what you wear isn't important - teaching your kids about confidence and inner beauty is what really matters. "You wanna know what's really sexy? Joy. That's what I think," said Hensley.

"I want my daughter to love her life and love herself, and she's not gonna do it because I tell her to do it," said Smedley. "She's gonna do it because I teach her to do it."

Thanks for keeping it real ladies!
