If there’s one thing we’ve learned about quirky Australian businessman Salim Mehajer over the past year, it’s that he doesn’t do things by halves. This sentiment is also apparently one echoed by his family, with Salim’s sister, Khadijeh, hosting a bridal shower that would probably put a Kardashian shindig to shame. In fact, it might even outdo Salim’s apparent $35 million lavish nuptials last August.

The soiree (because a party of this caliber couldn’t simply be called a party) was thrown by Salim himself, and a three-tier cake, towers of pink and white macarons, meringues, fruits, balloons, and a lit-up K were simply the beginning.

Not one to be shown up by a bunch of beautiful cakes, Khadijeh made sure she had four outfit changes on hand, strutting her stuff in everything from a hot pink frock to a mint green Carla Zampatti Grecian dress.

The party was so good that even the groom showed up. Khadijeh took to Snapchat with delight to let her followers know that her hubby-to-be, Ibraham, had turned up to “surprise” her before whisking her straight to the dance floor for some traditional Lebanese dancing. “When your man surprises you on your bridal shower! Love Ma bear,” she captioned a clip.
Not shy about their love of extravagance, Khadijeh and her bridal party have already dubbed her wedding, “Sydney’s Next Biggest Wedding” on social media after Salim’s was labeled “Wedding of the Century.”

Salim and his bride, Aysha, were not pictured at the party. Here’s a photo of their smoke-filled first dance, just because.
