Forever 21 Takes First Place for Millennials' Favorite Brands

The suits at investment bank Goldman Sachs, interested to know what teenage girls are spending their pocket money on these days, teamed up with Teen Vogue to create the “Teen Vogue-Goldman Sachs Love List,” a poll that lists the top 50 brands favored by 1200 millennial “It girls.”

If the results are to be believed, parents who wish to meet their darlings’ demands might just have to spring for a raise in allowances this year.

The list is jam-packed with luxury heavy hitters like Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Coach, and Louis Vuitton, where a monogrammed Speedy purse currently runs a cool $1,410.

While Forever 21 earned the list’s number one slot, and accessible brands like Target, Converse, and Victoria’s Secret’s PINK rounded out the top ten, Chanel, #29, still managed to beat out the ubiquitous and more practical labels like Toms, North Face, and Clean and Clear.

While we can’t deny the power of Karl Lagerfeld, we’re still okay with wearing Uggs (#23) while heading out to Target (#5) to replenish our Maybelline supply (#13).
