We think the best way to celebrate your birthday is to just do you and it looks like Taylor Swift, who turns 26 years old today, is already on it. The singer was spied leaving LAX earlier, looking oh so ready for the next killer year of her charmed life.

She may be older now, but Taylor is holding fast to her signature look. As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and this outfit seems to be working out just fine for the ‘1989′ songstress. Tay Tay breezed past the paps in a cropped blue sweatshirt, a short checkered plaid mini, black sheer stockings and some cute tasseled loafers – the finishing touch to a supremely preppy look.

We don’t know if she’ll ever be able to top her epic birthday party from last year – you know, the one freaking Jay Z and Beyoncé showed up to – but it looks like Taylor is ready for her 26th year of life to be just as good as her 25th.
