Donald and Melania Trump ‘souvenir wedding cake’ goes up for auction
The miniature chocolate truffle cake, which features a single white frosting rose, was given out as a wedding favour to be taken home by guests at the 2005 celebration in Palm Beach, Florida. The treat came housed in a white paper box monogrammed with the initials M D T. The actual seven-tier wedding cake reportedly cost around $50,000 (£37,830), according to the auction house, and was not actually eaten by wedding guests due to the amount of wire used to make it stand.
