STOP EVERYTHING: Beyoncé, Jay Z, and DJ Khaled just dropped a brand new song

As if all the performances from last night’s (February 12th) Grammys weren’t enough, DJ Khaled, Beyoncé, and Jay Z have released a new song, and it’s literally the fire emoji

Last night’s awards were full of drama. Not only did Beyoncé absolutely kill her performance of “Sandcastles” and “Love Drought” from Lemonade, but things also took a political turn with Katy Perry’s debut performance of “Chained To The Rhythm.”

And that was only the performances! After picking up the award for Album of the Year, Adele decided to apologize and offer it to Beyoncé. Meanwhile, CeeLo Green’s outfit became a huge meme, and Jennifer Lopez gave an inspiring speech that we can’t stop watching.

However, DJ Khaled, Beyoncé, and Jay Z have decided to up the stakes even more by surprise releasing a new song.

The track is titled “Shining” and sees Jay and Bey team up again for the first time since 2014 (the couple collaborated on Jay Z’s song “Part II (On The Run)” from his Magna Carta Holy Grail album).

“Shining” is the first song from Khaled’s 10th studio album (!), which is tentatively titled Grateful, and was co-produced alongside Danja (Britney Spears, Joe Jonas). What’s more, the artwork for the single is too darn adorable.

The picture is a cute snap of DJ Khaled’s son, Asahd Tuck Khaled, who was born last October. In fact, the producer and social media star recently revealed that his latest album would be executively produced by his son. We’re not quite sure in what capacity his four-month-old is involved with the album, but we now have visions of Asahd and his father sitting in the studio together bopping to music, and, well, it’s pretty darn cute.

“Shining” premiered exclusively on TIDAL originally, but it seems that the song is now also available on Apple Music. Listen to “Shining” below.

Tbh, it’s pretty great to hear Jay and Bey together again on a track. Also, we’re loving the song, too. It’s a really chilled song, and we can’t get enough of it.
