The Smallest Home for Sale in San Francisco Is Tiny Living Done Right

From House Beautiful

If we've said it once, we've said it a million times: Real estate in San Francisco is expensive. And, unfortunately, that's true even if you're willing to go super small. Case in point: The smallest home on the market right now is a 577-square-foot bungalow and it's going for $649,000.

But just because it's tiny, doesn't mean it isn't mighty. The cottage comes with a white picket fence out front that encloses a private front yard. And the backyard sports a private deck and patio that is an entertainer's dream come true. After all, most Californians chose the West Coast state for the weather, so these luxuries are unbeatable.

And the inside isn't anything short of adorable, if you ask us. It boasts a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, new hardwood floors (swoon) and even crown molding. The walls are painted soft pastel shades that perk up the small space, without making it feel cramped, like darks shades tend to do. The one exception? The kitchen is a bright and fun aqua that only makes us the slightest bit (okay, a lot) jealous.
