What Your Sign Says About How Likely You Are to Cheat
While there are so many factors that could contribute to whether or not you'd cheat on your partner, if you're an astrology geek, you might have a hunch your sign plays a factor.
To help figure it out I talked to Cosmopolitan.com's own Maressa Brown to get the real deal on how much your sign influences how likely you are to stray.
Aries: You're super competitive, so if you feel like your partner doesn't think you're hot AF, you might turn your love life into The Hunger Games. Not in the way that someone will die, but you might get into dicey territory while you're trying to make people fight for you. Be careful.
Taurus: You are known for being stubborn as hell and loyal AF, so once you commit to someone, you're in for life. Still, if you feel like your partner isn't giving you all the rose petals and sexy One Direction mixes you deserve, you might look for that in someone else.
Gemini: You already know you're pretty indecisive and have a short attention span, which sadly makes you pretty prone to needing more from a relationship than what one partner can provide. Also, if you feel like your partner can't banter with you like you're in a rom-com, you might go looking for someone else you can verbally vibe with.
Cancer: You're a fountain of emotions and really crave stability, thus making you one of the least likely signs to cheat. Still, while your heart may be made of rose gold, you're also so afraid of hurting your partners that you might not tell them when you want to end things. Is it easier to cheat and hurt them than tell them and hurt them? That's up to you.
Leo: You need to feel like the star of every movie on every screen in every city, and unless your partner is willing to cast you in that role, you are soooo likely to cheat. If you're not being treated like the Beyoncé of your life, you're super likely to seek someone who will treat you that way and you won't regret it at all. #SorryNotSorry.
Virgo: You worry about problems that don't even exist yet, so trying to get with some side guy while your main dude is at work is stress coma-inducing. That said, if your partner doesn't reach your perfectionist AF standards, you might be tempted to shop around for someone who does.
Libra: You're so naturally hot and flirty that it would make sense for you to cheat, but you also value romance and love as much as Emma Stone in Easy A that you probably won't. If you do cheat though, you're most likely to cheat emotionally just because you're bored and need someone to boost your ego.
Scorpio: If you haven't met The One yet, you are suuuuuuch a player. You're as seductive and charming as a late '90s Britney Spears, so yeah, you don't have a problem attracting dudes. That said, once you find someone you feel emotionally and sexually fulfilled with, you're in for life. Aka how Britney and Justin were. R.I.P.
Sagittarius: You have no filter at all, which means it's super hard for you to have a secret affair because you would blurt it out eventually. You also see sex as a fun game with no rules, so if your sex life is becoming more like a scripted series than a reality TV show, you might stray.
Capricorn: You're loyal and dependable like a friendly neighborhood puppy, but also you don't really care about finding love. You care, but you'd much rather social climb than focus on settling down with one person, especially if that person can help your career. So if you're partnered and you meet the head of a company you've always wanted to work for, it might be tough for you to keep it in your pants.
Aquarius: In general, once you're with your bae, you're not going to stray. If you do cheat, you're more likely to be the person sending low-key flirty texts to someone you connect with emotionally. If you really love your person though, you'll shut down the side piece action before it goes too far.
Pisces: You're so ruled by empathy and emotions that you won't really cheat unless you're trying to run away from a relationship that's not super great. Still, once you ride off into the sunset with the guy you cheated on your boyfriend with, you'll promptly beat yourself up about it and feel like crap forever. It's a fun cycle.
