As we all know, “Nevertheless, she persisted” is now an everyday phrase. And this “She Persisted”-themed energy bar wants you to protest with a satisfied stomach. We got the 4-1-1 from Mashable. Of course, the ever popular — and important — catchphrase stems from when Mitch McConnell shut down Elizabeth Warren on the Senate floor.

“She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted,” McConnell said.

And persist, she did.

In fact, women around the country and world are doing so, moment after moment. So why not create a “She Persisted” energy bar? Chef and blogger Lentine Alexis did just that. She based it on her past experience competing in Ironman Triathlons. When doing so, she needed to snack on things that would help keep her going, she told Mother Jones.

“Anything we do in our day-to-day lives, living through example and planting little seeds is really important,” Lentine told Mother Jones. “Those little seeds added together create something that’s really powerful and that’s lasting and vital for us to continue no matter what the political or athletic climate may be.”

Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Lentine’s “Superseed Energy Bar (for Making Change)” is heavy on seeds. The recipe is easy to make, and includes ingredients such as raw pumpkin seeds, rolled oats, and vanilla extract.

Of course, #NeverthelessShePersisted and #ShePersisted are still making the rounds on social media, and we ~love~ it. Of course, we don’t love that it happened in the first place, but we love how women everywhere are standing up for Warren, and one another.

For instance, last month, you may remember how we told you about a shirt that Reebok created stating, “Nevertheless, she persisted” — aww. Big ups to them!

And, of course, women — and men! — continue to show their support online and IRL.

Generations of women are getting #NeverthelessShePersisted fever.

And, as we said, men are getting in on the catchphrase, too.

Some women think we all need “Nevertheless, she persisted” tattoos…

And some women ~are~ getting those tattoos.

We definitely think a ton of people are following what Lentine said above about planting seeds. Not only are we excited to make her “She Persisted”-themed energy bars, but we’re also excited to keep planting the #NeverthelessShePersisted seeds and watching them sprout.
