Sharon Stone Is Sans Nipples in Naked ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Shoot

Those who purchase Harper’s Bazaar’s Katy Perry-covered September issue will find something surprising within the pages: Not the fact that Sharon Stone is starring in an editorial completely naked, but that she doesn’t actually have any nipples. It’s truly a sight to see!
Paired with a piece about the 57-year-old actress and Restylane spokesperson’s impending Hollywood comeback, the three black-and-white photos shot by Mark Abrahams see Stone sitting, standing, and Betty Booping, all while wearing nothing but some new-season heels and jewelry. Both her clothing and areolae are notably absent from the pictures.
Stone has never been shy about nudity, having posed for Playboy in 1990, and partaking in history’s most infamous leg-crossing in 1992′s Basic Instinct. But she tells Harper’s Bazaar that getting nakey was actually easier this time around.
“I’m aware that my ass looks like a bag of flapjacks,“ she says, namedropping a product I’ve never heard of but will surely be on the lookout for next time I go grocery shopping. "But I’m not trying to be the best-looking broad in the world. At a certain point you start asking yourself, ‘What really is sexy?’ It’s not just the elevation of your boobs. It’s being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that’s with you.”
We’re thrilled that Stone seems to have found both inner and outer peace as far as aging, sex appeal, and boob elevation are concerned. We only wish she could have done it with her nipples still intact. We’re all for “freeing the nipple,” but this is just going too far.
