Sequins, Sleeves & Cut-Outs: 2015 Emmy Trend Report

Manhattan’s go-to color made its way west on Sunday night, where a handful of women hit the red carpet at the 67th Emmy Awards dressed in black. Lady Gaga gave her stylist, Brandon Maxwell, his awards show debut (he just launched his collection at New York Fashion Week) in an aysmmetrical gown, while Julia Louis Dreyfus wore emerging designer Safiyya, and Amanda Peet chose Michael Kors.

Sparkle reigned supreme, via Kerry Washington in silver, Sarah Paulson in black and navy Prabal Gurung, and dozens of other bedazzled gowns. Long sleeves, hot pink, and even bright yellow repeatedly popped up over the course of the night, as did suits and bobs.

Here are the night’s biggest trends.
