The #SaltBae meme star is the salt-sprinkling casanova we never knew we needed
Didn’t think there was a sexy way to sprinkle salt? Think again. An over-the-top Turkish butcher, also known as #SaltBae, is taking over the internet for being more than a little extra – and we love it.
Nusret Gökçe is a butcher and restauranteur who owns six steakhouses in Turkey. He became an internet sensation overnight after a video of him carefully slicing an Ottoman steak (and sprinkling it with salt in an elaborate flourish) went viral.
It’s no wonder Gökçe won Twitter’s heart: Just look at him! From the glasses, to the hair, to the fitted clothes – and let’s not forget his steel focus – it’s basically impossible to look away.

#SaltBae’s salt sprinkling is so profound, Twitter quickly linked it to an all-too-relatable feeling: Being a little extra sometimes.

One highly-observant Twitter user pointed out Gökçe’s resemblance to a certain Fairly Odd Parents character, and we have to admit it’s uncanny.
