Salma Hayek said Donald Trump did something very strange after she denied him a date
With the U.S. presidential election less than a month away, we all know things are getting heated, politically speaking — even off the debate stage. As BuzzFeed News reported, on a nationally syndicated Spanish-language radio show on October 21st, Salma Hayek revealed that when she refused to go on a date with Donald Trump, he had a story planted in the National Enquirer — and he said he wouldn’t date her because she’s too short.
Trump had gotten Hayek’s home phone number from her then-boyfriend, the actress said. When Trump asked Hayek out, it was before she was as famous as she is today.
“Someone told the National Enquirer — I’m not going to say who, because you know that whatever he wants to come out comes out in the National Enquirer,” Hayek said. “It said that he wouldn’t go out with me because I was too short. Later, he called and left me a message. ‘Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don’t want people to think this about you.’”
On a lighter note, ICYMI, Hayek’s a Hillary Clinton supporter.
Hayek also told the radio show, El Show del Mandril on Radio Centro 93.9 in Los Angeles, that she believes the women who alleged that Trump sexually assaulted them.
In addition, according to Entertainment Tonight, Hayek said that if Trump won the presidential election, it would be really bad for the Hispanic community.
On a lighter note, ICYMI back in June, Hayek did a face swap with Trump via Snapchat. (He wasn’t a fan.)
“I was wondering what would happen if Donald Trump had Hispanic heritage so I did a face swap,” she said in the Snap she posted.
