Rihanna’s Puma Creepers Sold Out in 3 Hours

It wasn’t quite FourFiveSeconds, but the sell-out time for Rihanna’s new Puma collaboration is not something to be sniffed at.

According to the pop star, the pre-orders for her $120 “Fenty” creeper-style sneaker, which went live on Monday, sold out entirely in just three hours. (Fenty, by the way, is Rihanna’s surname.)

Her announcement came in the form of an Instagram (below) of her toddler niece, Majesty, carrying a holographic bag, with the caption, “When they told me #THECREEPER sold out in 3 hours….catch you on the 25th if you missed it!”

But those who didn’t make the pre-sale and are eager to get their feet on a pair of RiRis needn’t freak out just yet: They’ll be released to the public on September 25 (and in two new colorways—all black and all tan), and New Yorkers can actually get them even earlier than that, at Puma’s pop-up boutique between E. 1st Street and Bleecker from September 15 to 17.

While selling out anything—especially in a matter of hours—is impressive, the sales on Rihanna’s sneaks have actually been relatively slow compared to her sometimes-collaborator Kanye West’s own collaboration with Adidas. His latest release, the Yeezy Boost 350, reportedly sold out in all of 12 minutes.

Either way, we’re still pretty impressed.
