Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney Wear Designer Denim in "FourFiveSeconds" Vid

Kanye West is kicking off 2015 on a musical high note. Firsthe shared his (adorable) “Only One” music video that was dedicated to and starred his daughter, North. Then, on Tuesday morning, he followed up with a black-and-white music video shot by fashion photogs/power couple Inez & Vinoodh for his new song, “Four Five Seconds,” a collaborative effort with Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney.

The latest release is a far cry from Riri’s “S&M,” “Disturbia,” and “Umbrella” days. The 26-year-old Barbadian singer, who’s known for her productions that are shot in exotic locations with outfit changes and multiple back-up dancers, went a different route this time. It’s a simple acoustic tune – McCartney is mum, strumming on the guitar –and Rihanna and Kanye are pared down in matching outfits that reflect the song’s simplicity. Apparently the “Jesus Walks” rapper/budding fashion designer chose them himself. In a behind-the-scenes video she shared: “Kanye came up with the idea of doing some real street denim. [An] all-American type look. Denim never goes out of style. It’s classic. It’s iconic. Just like the f***ing Beatles.”

Rihanna is sporting minimal makeup while wearing a belted oversized denim coat that actually belongs to her pal, Mr. West. She was clearly into the look having noted that it was, “some Sean John throwback vintage jacket that is f@#*ing major.” The rapper also wore a full denim look with Timberland boots.

Fashion, music, and McCartney. What’s not to love?
