Real-Life Looks from 1970, the Year of the Mad Men Finale

This Sunday, Part 2 of the very final season of Mad Men debuts on AMC. After taking us from the uptightness to the let-it-all-hang-out-ness of the entire 1960s, the series will end in 1970–and if the trailer is any indication, we’ll be seeing plenty of chiffon, which played a huge fashion role in the disco era. Last spring, the final episode of Part 1 already was dropping 1970s hints, such as Peggy’s career-woman power pantsuit and men’s wide-lapeled plaid jackets.
