Ralph Lauren’s Olympics Uniforms Are Obviously Super Preppy

The 2016 Rio Olympics is 100 days away and the American athletes already know what they’re going to be wearing. On Wednesday, Polo Ralph Lauren’s signature U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Closing Ceremony parade uniforms were unveiled on NBC’s Today Show with swimmers Ryan Lochte and Haley Anderson and wrestler Jordan Burroughs showing off the looks.

Preppy as per usual, the Games participants will keep cool in hot Brazil in white chino shorts. Yet their double layer shirt look — a blue and white striped tee layered underneath a button down — might lead to some excessive perspiration. Their accessories include a striped belt and boat shoes, all in the USA colors.

According to Lochte, a man known for his sense of style (at least according to Matt Lauer who doesn’t know that grills were like so 2008), the outfits are “fantastic” and are very beach chic. Jeah!
