5 Pre-Fall Trends To Know Now

Consider this your Pre-Fall primer to what will be in stores next May!

Here are my top five VIP trends and the must-have pieces from the ongoing Pre-Fall 2015 collections that we are seeing. These shows are always a precursor to what we’ll see for Fall, so if you decide to invest in these pieces, they will last you for years to come! This gives us a good six months to start saving or, perhaps, start combing through vintage stores for retro-inspired replicas.

1. The leather trench. From Michael Kors to Mugler, the classic trench gets reworked in various lengths, shapes, and colors.

2. Landscaped prints. Get a inspired by Chanel's wildlife top or Mulberry's sweeping English country side.

3. Khaki anything. Designers are still playing around with this shade, from sweaters to coats and dresses.

4. Dark florals. Florals are a bit darker and moodier than in past seasons.

5. Funny faces. The eyes have it at Fendi, while Baja East's favorite feline is ready to stare you down.
