Pippa Middleton’s a Fashion Designer Now

Pippa Middleton might have made headlines on her sister’s wedding day for looking beautiful (but mostly bodacious) in a custom Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown. Since then though, she’s made many attempts to usurp her older sibling, the Duchess of Cambridge, with increasingly odd endeavors. She’s dabbled as a writer, releasing a party planning book and penning columns for multiple publications including Vanity Fair (she recently extolled dating wisdom, musing over the fact that croquet is a “great excuse for mingling with the opposite sex") and The Spectator (she pondered society’s obsession with the backside), and was rumored to be moving stateside to become a Today Show host. But now, she’s trying her hand at designing clothes — for charity, of course.

Middleton’s partnered with Tabitha Webb to create a floral print dress and matching scarf, which will be sold tabithawebb.co.uk for $450 and $145, respectively, with all proceeds benefitting the British Heart Foundation.

“It was a great experience collaborating with Tabitha Webb on the style and design of the two pieces,” she told Hello. “As an ambassador of the British Heart Foundation, I am delighted that all profits of the sales will go towards their life-saving research into heart disease. Creating the limited-edition pieces was a fun and creative way to fundraise for their London to Brighton cycle challenge.”

Webb added that it was an “absolute pleasure” and she’s “really honored” to collaborate with the heir to the bouncy castle fortune (seriously, that’s how the Middleton family made their money). She also suggested styling the dress with a denim jacket and heels for a casual outing and with heels and bare shoulders for a more fancy one.

What will Middleton do next? With her wide range of talents and interests, there’s no telling what her future holds.
