In a world dominated by the Kardashian-Jenners, we’ve begun to miss some of our favorite celebs from the early aughts, namely Paris Hilton, who might not have the same monopoly on the tabloids as she used to, but is definitely out here doing her thing. The DJ/fragrance and real estate mogul/heiress nabbed herself a cover and spread for Paper magazine’s Fandemonium issue (as has Chloë Sevigny, Lucy Hale and Marc Jacobs’ pooch Neville Jacobs) which is making us remember why we fell in love with her all those years ago.

In the spread, we see Ms. Hilton styled in a way that is a departure from how we typically see her –this time, the heiress dons edgy makeup, complete with a jet-black pucker as she poses in threads from Rick Owens, Mugler, Hood by Air (our favorite look, which has the heriess’ booty on full display) and more. For the accompanying piece, Paper delves in to Hilton’s internet life, getting the tea on such important details like what she last Googled (how to roast chicken, Halloween costumes and her baby photos), her old AOL screenname (ParisBarbie, ntach), and her favorite social media platform (Instagram).

Ok, guys, what do we have to do to make goth girl Paris Hilton stay forever? This Mugler dress is just perfect on her. Photo: Paper

Internet chat aside, what really sealed the deal in reminding us why we loved Paris Hilton so much is her impeccable taste in breakfast foods. Granted, Ms. Hilton has always been a slim gal, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy loading up on carbs and sugar like the rest of us. She admitted to the magazine that her breakfast that day included “french toast with bananas, Rice Krispies and a toasted bagel with cream cheese.” You guys, it’s a meal packed with so many delicious carbs and sugars, it’s as if Paris Hilton is one of us – if you take away the fame, fortune and small dogs, of course.
