LIVES IN: Tokyo, Japan
PARTICULARS: Miyuki Ohashi, or “Miyu” as she is called, is in pursuit of drawing the most simple and modern female form. This illustrator, who trained at the renowned Setsu-Mode Seminar school in Tokyo, hand paints fashion and accessories designs in crayon, pencil, marker, and watercolor. Her drawings have been used for Dior Addict ads, Elle Japan, John Bryon custom shirts, and many others, but we really love the personal, freestyle, sweeping sketches she posts on her Tumblr page.
WE ASKED FOR…: Miyu’s take on five very different wedding dress looks—alternative, bohemian, colorful, day to night, and traditional. In her creative hands, these drawings are pretty magical….
