The internet got nervous for a minute that Barack Obama wouldn't want to return from his Virgin Islands vacay, but don't worry--he's back! The former President has indeed returned stateside (looking quite refreshed, if we do say so ourselves), and this week, he reunited with his oldest daughter Malia for some father-daughter time in the Big Apple.
Since exiting the White House, the Obamas have been enjoying some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Former President Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, headed out to Richard Branson's property in the British Virgin Islands, while 18-year-old Malia attended the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

This week, the band got back together in N.Y.C., where father and daughter enjoyed back-to-back nights out on the town. On Thursday, they indulged in Italian cuisine at Emilio's Ballato in SoHo, taking a minute afterward to pose with the restaurant's chef, who looks delighted.

Then on Friday, the two headed to Broadway, where they attended the revival of Arthur Miller's The Price, which stars Danny DeVito and Mark Ruffalo. Obama wore a crisp white button-down shirt and black suit for the event, while Malia chose a casual navy blue turtleneck and black pants. Both the show's cast and the Obamas wore big smiles as they posed for a backstage picture together.

The Obamas certainly know how to do vacation right! And if anyone deserves a little downtime, it's them.
