Not Even Speedo Will Root for Ryan Lochte Anymore

From ELLE

After more than 10 years sponsoring Ryan Lochte, Speedo USA announced today that it will drop the Olympic swimmer from its roster. This follows a series of events that revealed Lochte lied about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio along with three teammates.

The swimwear brand posted an official statement on Twitter. "While we have enjoyed a winning relationship with Ryan for over a decade and he has been an important member of the Speedo team, we cannot condone behavior that is counter to the values this brand has long stood for," it read. "We appreciate his many achievements and hope he moves forward and learns from this experience.

Speedo USA will also donate a $50,000 portion of Lochte's fee to benefit children in Brazil via the charity Save the Children.
