Is North West the Inspiration Behind Givenchy's New Children's Line?

It looks like North West has started her musing duties early. At least that's what we think is behind designer Riccardo Tisci's decision to launch Givenchy's first children's-wear line starting July 2017.

According to WWD, the collection (there will be two a year with 60 pieces for girls, 40 for boys, and 30 for babies) will be produced and distributed by Children Worldwide Fashion, and it's the first step in Tisci's plans to building a lifestyle brand. And there's even talk of a couture capsule for girls, in which Tisci will shrink Givenchy Haute Couture creations into adorable mini-me sizes.

But of course, Tisci has had practice with custom kids' clothing. North famously matched mama Kim Kardashian West's see-through lace Givenchy gown with her own sheer black Givenchy top at the show's spring 2015 show during Paris Fashion Week. And then there was that one time Tisci gifted North a mini version of the famous Bambi tee.

So what are we hoping to get out of this? Other than fawning over teeny-tiny Givenchy designs (priced between 80 euros for baby tees to 300 euros for children's coats), we're taking this as a sign that North's first-ever fashion campaign might come sooner than we thought--and we can't wait for that day to come.
